For commercial projects, many of the creative requirements are very similar to residential design work. But businesses clearly have extra needs and considerations – company philosophy and brand values, productivity and efficiency, health and safety, and of course project management and budget. As well as bringing my creative flair to commercial design, I can take responsibility for end-to-end project management, helping to control costs and free you up to focus on your business. I usually work with a company’s own preferred tradespeople, or I can help you choose the right high quality sub-contractors for your project. I can also give advice and guidance on layout flow around your workplace, lighting for safety and productivity, and suggest clever ways to reinforce your brand values and corporate identity through interior design.

All commercial projects begin with an informal face-to-face conversation at your business location. There is no charge for this initial consultation, and no obligation whatsoever. This gives us a great opportunity to get to know each other and discuss your particular requirements and objectives.
After this first consultation, I’ll come up with initial design concepts, mood board and sample board. We’ll talk through my ideas, make any changes you need and once the design is approved I can prepare a schedule of work including the deadlines to be met.
